The QFC in Sequim was not in the middle of a remodel. It was a completed remodel from the last 5 or less years. But they did say that it will probably get a full remodel.

Last night I was in Sequim, WA on the Olympic Peninsula. They have a QFC that was built by QFC before the Fred Meyer meger or at least before the Kroger merger. There is also a newly remodeled Safeway in North Bend, WA that has a Tully's. I am guessing that with Starbucks cutting back, that could be the reason that Tully's might be getting some sites. I wonder if Kroger would ever take an interest in Kmart/Sears? I know that they tend to do their Marketplace stores with their regional banners. But they do have attractive stores that seem to be well run, especially Fred Meyer. But Sears and Kmart have good brands. So I am wondering if Kroger would...
