Re: Rite Aid closing at least 63 stores
I wouldn’t be shocked if Gardnerville closes, considering it’s the only store in Nevada. I would be a bit sad, but not surprised. Not sure if CVS would take the space or not. They exited Reno in 2007 and exited Las Vegas in 2008 so it has been the only store in the state ever since 2008; since that...

Re: Chuck's Produce Rebranded in Vancouver, WA
I'm surprised people are still shopping Chuck's with what was done to the pricing.

Re: 'Target CEO claims customers are saying ‘a big thank you’ for locking up merchandise'
Curious--does anyone know of a particularly high-volume Super in metro Kansas City--we're headed there in a week or so with some time to kill and would be curious to see one. I went to the one at 15345 W 119th St in Olathe, KS after eating at the nearby Olathe location of Joe’s KC BBQ (which is the...

Re: Rite Aid closing at least 63 stores
South Lake Tahoe Store is already very well packed up. There is no clearance sale occurring at this store. They are just packing it I guess. The store is closing on December 10. So far the following aisles are 100% packed up: Stomach medicines Pain Relief Vitamins Shampoo Facial- Lotion Acne etc. Me...

Re: Modesto A&W closes due to ADA lawsuit
I could see the reasoning for the lawsuit if the restaurant refused to accommodate. But it sounds like they were more than willing to try to help a handicapped person! Too bad A&W corporate couldn’t help them! The franchisor can be held liable for damages in these lawsuits for allowing a locati...

Re: The 99 Store Mail Ad
I think 90% of their items are priced above 1.4999. Not much of anything is .99999 anymore but there are a few items. 1.2999 is also a ship that is quickly sailing away to 1.4999. I don't consider them to be competitive with Dollar Tree anymore. But I have bought some of their $8 to $12 range softli...

Re: Rite Aid closing at least 63 stores
I am shocked by the Rite Aid closure in Davis, California. That leaves only 3 true drugstores in the entire city. The city has over 66,000 residents and 37,000 university students. There will be no drugstores in the south end of the city. Good luck trying to fill prescriptions in the city. The line...

Modesto A&W closes due to ADA lawsuit
Can't believe these borderline scam ADA lawsuit people are still finding old non compliant businesses to go file lawsuits against. They were hitting stuff around Lake Tahoe 10 years ago.

Re: Sak N Save (Raleys) Closing Reno, NV
Yeah, when I looked at the floor plan for El Super, it showed the were only going to be using one out of the set of entrance doors Sac N Save used. I just hope they have decent prices, otherwise, no one will go. Winco is way too close to have bad prices. They have the remaining floor space of what w...

Re: Walgreens closed Thanksgiving Day (24 hour stores still open)
Target and Wal Mart have drawn the line and will not open on Thanksgiving again. I am glad the days of malls opening at 6 PM or whatever on Thanksgiving are over.
Walgreens decision is unclear if this is just a one time thing or what. Maybe they don't know.
