Re: SuperTarget - Phoenix: A Review

Not sure if this is the best forum to put this in, but during my last Phoenix visit, I ended up in more stores - a) Bashas': good all around full-service experience. No online pickup/ordering/etc but maybe they have a more "distinguished" customer. Excellent bakery. Clean and friendly but...

Re: Kroger and creepy PA Announcements

These "tidying announcements" were the topic of the closing segment of KXRK-FM (X96)'s "Radio From Hell" show for about 5 minutes. The podcast should be available later today. It was ridiculed to no end. Edit: https://www.spreaker.com/user/broadwaymedia/rfh03142019 Audio at 154:...

Re: Smith's Food & Drug stopping Visa acceptance

I have no idea if Boise is celebrating or not, but by doing this division by division they are signaling to their competitors that they are serious about this issue and I am sure they are hoping that their competitors will join in the fight. If they don't jump in Kroger will have to give up the fig...

Re: Kroger to stop offering paper bags with handles

For the longest time, the default bag at Ralphs was a handled paper bag. They did away with that a few years ago.

Re: LATimes.com ranks french fries

The big "holy war" when it comes to burger chains (at least from where I see it) seems to be Californians with In 'N Out and Texans with Whataburger, and endless debates between the two about which is better. I'm rarely in Texas so it's been years since I've been to a Whataburger, but I d...

Re: Let’s talk about Kroger Pay.

When I saw that I thought "proprietary payments are soooooooo 2016!" Target has just rolled out Apple and Android Pay chain-wide. What's up with Kroger?

Re: LATimes.com ranks french fries

A agree about the fries. As gross as McDonald's food is in general (except the annual McRib of course lol) there is something addicting about their French fries. That's sad because In-N-Out actually cuts the potatoes fresh and in site of the customer but they just aren't very good IMO. On the other...

I agree with the study. McDonald's has the best fries and In'n'Out has the worst. Not crazy about In'n'Out's burgers, either.
