Re: Louie Vuitton Store Robbed By Multiple People
The worst part of San Francisco is crossing the streets. The drivers are aggressive and there are many pedestrian fatalities. A shopping area without cars is much more relaxing. Walnut Creek's outdoor mall, Broadway Plaza, has always had streets running through the shopping center. Crossing the stre...

Re: Kaiser Permanente Allows Prescriptions At Other Pharmacies Due To Strike
The strike was called off of course, but the damage to Kaiser has been done. Kaiser transferred many hospital patients to non-Kaiser hospitals and it is a huge mess trying to transfer them back. Many Kaiser patients are still waiting for their mail order prescriptions. Kaiser told the patients to us...

Re: CVS to close 900 stores
I would think that CVS really has a tough time competing with Lenscrafters in most areas. There are Lenscrafters all over the place including Macy's. The CVS Optical Centers seem to be only in Southern California. I have not seen any in Northern California where most CVS stores were former Longs Dru...

He will not sell it, even though someone offered him $21 million for the real estate. The restaurant loses money,...

Re: Fred Meyer to cease overnight music broadcast
The security announcement only turns on late at night when security goes home. The service department opens at 7 AM, so I assume security works from about 6 AM to 10 PM. Once they leave, they turn on the announcements.

Re: CVS to close 900 stores
The CVS pharmacies inside of Target are actually a good source of profit for CVS. The big source of profit now is made by vaccinations and expensive insulin. The busy Target stores are the perfect place to get people who want vaccinations. Flu, shingles, pneumonia vaccines, etc. A single vaccination...

Louie Vuitton Store Robbed By Multiple People
Their store in San Francisco's Union Square was robbed by a massive group of people who arrived in an armada of cars. The store was totally emptied out. The city is now planning to limit street access to the store. Most customers of this store already walk to the store. There is limited street parki...

80 People Rob Nordstrom Store
A massive mob of 80 people robbed a Nordstrom store in the affluent suburb of San Francisco called Walnut Creek on Saturday. Twenty-five cars blocked the narrow street in front of the outdoor mall and 80 people robbed the store all at once. Some were carrying crowbars and one person had a gun. It wa...

Re: Amazon Fresh's cashierless plan falling short
A new Whole Foods is about to open in Oakland, California. Shocking... It was planned to be a small Whole Foods 365 store with limited selection and low prices. The 365 chain was eliminated, and now this store will open as a full priced Whole Foods with no service departments and a limited variety o...

Re: CVS to close 900 stores
The former Longs Drugs Flagship store in downtown Walnut Creek has been rumored for years to be closed in order for condominiums to be built on the land. It has a huge empty parking lot that could become a very expensive housing complex. The classic McDonald's across the street was bulldozed to beco...
