Re: Sears/Kmart Death Watch 2018
I don't really see why anyone would shop at Kmart at this point. If they don't have inventory, what's the point in stopping in for something unless you don't have any other choices? It sounds more depressing than anything. I never cared to shop in a dirty, understocked store. Last year when our Kmar...

Re: Taco Bell Ordering Kiosks
Yeah, I actually just noticed these tonight. I didn't use them and I didn't see anyone else using them either. It can be a wait at Taco Bell at times for a cashier, but not always. I have noticed most restaurants have at least two cashier stations (McDonald's might have 3) but it's been a really lon...

Re: CVS to focus more on Healthcare
This is the exact same scenario in Texas, where most CVS stores are either 90's Eckerd stores or locations built by CVS in the late 90's or since. Outside of a few locations in historic/dense areas (such as a non-pharmacy location on the Riverwalk in San Antonio), almost all of their stores around ...

Re: CVS to focus more on Healthcare
Most of the CVS stores here are in former Eckerd Drug locations that opened in the late 1990s and replaced former strip mall stores. So most of them are in pretty good shape, a good size, and have drive thrus, etc. I did notice there are a few locations that CVS had chosen not to take over that have...

Re: Sears/Kmart Death Watch 2018
Stopped by our local Sears yesterday. Overall the store itself looked really nice. No empty shelves and everything was neat and tidy. Holiday signage was up throughout and looked good. The store wasn't nearly as busy as Belk or JCPenney but there were a small number of people browsing clothing and m...

Walgreens and FedEx
Has anyone tried Walgreens FedEx services? I recently got a package via FedEx and it was rather large so I didn't want it left at home with me not there. I was able to go online and give the tracking number and which Walgreens to hold it at. Everything went smoothly. Initially I worried the package ...

Re: Sears/Kmart Death Watch 2018
I noticed Sears seems to be pushing toys this year. When I went a few weeks ago, I saw signs with characters from Nickelodeon saying "Visit our Toy Store". They had taken an empty space next to the mattress department (originally this was the TV department, but recently had been home to ju...

Re: Issues at Subway
There is a Subway in Reno on Kietzke Lane that has opened and closed so many times, I lost count. I drove by it this weekend and saw it is open again. It had been closed. This is a former Popeyes building that closed as Popeyes in the mid 90's and seemed to start being a Subway sometime in the earl...

Re: Issues at Subway
Has anyone else not been getting any Subway coupons in the mail. The ones I had expired and it seems like it's been about two or three month at least since they've sent any more. I haven't been in about that long because I usually won't do Subway without coupons.

Re: Sears/Kmart Death Watch 2018
Really is just a shame that Eddie L did not do not try to do anything to make these chains places customers wanted to shop. I think he should have been gone a long time ago. Not only did he not make them places people wanted to shop, in my eyes he purposefully made them places people *didn't* want ...
