One thing with this merger saga, what will happen to the Osco and Sav-on Pharmacy names? I bet they will be finally killed off under Kroger.

I doubt Kroger is going to "give" SpinCo any banners. That would require a massive rebranding of entire divisions, which is the last thing they want to do right now. If they want this merger to go through, they have to keep rebrandings to an absolute minimum in order to avoid public oppos...

Maybe the owner is religious enough not to sell alcohol. Williams, a small Oklahoma chain that bought some Albertsons stores, didn't sell alcohol at the time due to the owner's religious objections.
