CVS Pharmacies Closing For Lunch Nationwide
Starting February 28, CVS Pharmacies will close 1:30 to 2:00 for lunch nationwide. This is standard practice at some other pharmacies when there is only 1 pharmacist on duty. Some pharmacies allow the pharmacy to operate without a Pharmacist in the pharmacy if the pharmacist is at lunch in another p...

Re: Subway...what a joke
This shopping center had some recent sudden closures. Great Clips closed suddenly and was cleared out in just days ready for a new tenant. It turned into a COVID testing site. The Pizza Hut closed and was transformed into a funeral home just a short time later. Pizza to cremations!

Re: Subway...what a joke
The Subway that I drive by every workday suddenly closed. The entire restaurant has been emptied. I never went in there, but the time it took to close was phenomenal. I do not know why it would close as the busy shopping center has a Walmart with no restaurant inside. There were many in the area onl...

Re: Free Masks
There are ways to make a mask safe again. You could put it in a paper bag and let it dry out. The virus particles should be harmless after a day or so. The real danger is from virus particles floating in the air that get into the lungs. Kroger is terrible for leaving them out, but they can still be ...

Re: Retail Slowdown
I think that there is a migration of customers to Costco. Safeway was not busy, but Costco seemed busy. Customers are seeking out the lowest prices and end up at Costco. Even Walmart seems to be losing customers to Costco.

Re: Free Masks
The ones I saw at Walmart in the San Francisco Bay Area were individually sealed in plastic 3M masks. These are folded flat and expand when you unwrap them. I like the quality and fit. Are those the Aura 9205+? I've bought a few boxes of those at Home Depot but haven't tried them yet. They look ver...

Re: Drug Store Operations
I work at a pharmacy, and it has been very difficult to hire or keep any employees. The pay is low and the stress is high. You constantly get verbally abused by mentally unstable patients needing psych medications or you have to deal with drug addicts who are trying to obtain Norco or other controll...

Re: Free Masks
The government is giving out several different types of N95 masks made by different companies. The ones I saw at Walmart in the San Francisco Bay Area were individually sealed in plastic 3M masks. These are folded flat and expand when you unwrap them. I like the quality and fit. Walmart might have t...

Re: Drug Store Operations
Walmart is planning to cut pharmacy hours so that their pharmacies close at 7 PM instead of 9 PM. People are not staying out as late anymore. The most busy times of day for pharmacies is the day time now. That is when customers come in for vaccinations. The staff is needed most during the day to han...

Re: Drug Store Operations
Pharmacies are giving out the 3 free N95 masks. They are 3M brand, but non surgical. I saw a lot at Walmart pharmacies.
