Retail Watchers

Stopped into the Vons in Inglewood today and noticed it received a decor update. This a very large store and the service deli is way more extensive than it used to be (more salads than I've ever seen at any Vons).

Surprised this store received an update when there are many more that are busy in need of one.

This is a very nice looking decor package. It is my favorite so far. I hope that the Safeway that is remodeling near me, gets this decor.

I love this decor package, and would have liked it if my local Vons would've received this package instead of the annoyingly bright "Florida decor" package .

The Vons in Hermosa Beach also received this decor package over the past couple of months, and are currently running a "Come See What's New!" grand re-opening promo. I like how they work local elements into the package. There are several prints of old historic photos from the area. Adds a nice touch.

Does anyone know the name of this decor package?

Despite the fact that it originated at Shaw's/Star Market out East and it has the little sayings underneath the department names like Premium Fresh and Healthy, people call it "Colorful Lifestyle."

Perhaps your local VONS received a different variety of the "Florida" (officially called "Modern") package, but the Safeways here in Arizona are painted tan, brown, and light olive green with woodgrain accents. Not quite what I would call "bright."
