Walmart has started a radio advertising blitz emphasizing their grocery and HABA prices calling it the "Portland price drop."

How do these price drops look?

I am noticing more "sale" items in their grocery departments with Rollback tags. Fewer everyday prices that match WinCo. The Rollbacks seem to be competitive with Smiths, generally.

HBA category they are definitely priced a lot more competitively than most.

Lots of little red rollback tags in grocery with large hanging signs that show that it's a Portland-area rollback.
Similar to this photo from April 2018 but in grocery department. That Woodburn store is pretty sweet. Like Centralia, Wash. they kept the drop ceiling from the original store, then built "high" over the expanded area where groceries were added.
