Since my cable systems carries a Canadian channel, I spotted an ad for Lucerne Dairy products. Here in the states, I may have only seen ads for that in conjunction with Safeway. With the sale of Safeway to Sobey’s, Lucerne was eventually sold to Agropur. Lucerne Canada features the cartoonish cow head logo that Lucerne US used until recently. I did still see that logo on some Lucerne ice cream products here in Seattle earlier this year. But while the logo is old, the milk cartons do have a new design!
