Kroger releases "Thank you" TV campaign to their associates

Post by SamSpade »

VO mentions your local Kroger family of stores brand and images are kind of interesting, even showing one of the Starbucks baristas working the regular register. One snapshot of a fry's Food & Drug employee but the others are all Kroger.

I did like the closing shot that shows the regional brands approximately in their regions. One glaring omission that sometimes people get sensitive about - Alaska (always tricky to include).

At least Kroger has stores in most of the United States and can semi-accurately show their store layout. An honest portrayal would probably cut out New England, but if Albertsons tried a similar approach they'd have to amputate nearly two-thirds of the United States.
