Coca-cola discontinuing Odwalla brand

Post by SamSpade »

I know this isn't actually a store, but seems like a significant development for grocers and convenience retailers.

Coca-Cola has been assessing Odwalla's business for the last several years, according to a company spokesperson, who added that the decision to discontinue the brand is not directly related to the coronavirus pandemic.
This allows them to eliminate refrigerated trucking.

Interesting, but I don't think Odwalla has ever had the market penetration that Pepsico's Naked brand has enjoyed (ironically enough).

Yes, There's a blue joke in there. You're welcome.

Coke struggles with sub-brands of non-sodas. How many times will they attempt to get a Seltzer brand going before they can finally get one that works? Aha is another joke that will fail.

Sorry to see Odwalla go- I liked the product.
