The irony is that the Tualatin Haggens was a site Target strongly considered before Haggens was built there. I remember our DM bragging that a store was going there but it fell through.

Re: Remaining unfilled Haggen stores
There was another store in Redondo Beach at 2117 Artesia Blvd. in Redondo Beach that was originally built as a Lucky's that sat empty for a long time because they were asking too much rent and wanted to sub-divide the store with a Drug Store and Supermarket. They finally settled for a Grocery Warehouse, which I don't think was their first choice, and a CVS which actually was their first choice but probably ended up with for a lower rent.

There’s a vacant ex-Haagen/Vons in Tustin. It’s an older store and across the street from an Albertsons that opened in the early 2000s (with a hybrid Jewel/Grocery Palace interior).

The Albertsons kitty-corner from the abandoned Haggen was remodeled into LLC interior a few years ago. Stater Bros could probably move into this abandoned Vons/Haggen.
There is also another abandoned Vons/Haggen on 17th Street in Tustin. The CVS next door is also abandoned. Did this store start out as a Safeway/Super S combo?
