Worth noting is that the original Longview Walmart, which just reopened after a year-long closure and major remodel, once again has self-checkouts. The original ones were removed some time before the store closed for its remodel due to theft concerns, and I was surprised to see them since the other Longview Walmart which opened a year ago, as well as the Woodland store which opened about 2 months later, do not have them.
Also worth noting, I was in Olympia, WA earlier today, and visited a Target store there which just received the Pfresh remodel, and was surprised that Target has turned to self-checkouts at that location. It is the first Target I have seen with them.
