I went into the mall in Reno today and found the Dick's Sporting Goods in the mall is closed temporarily at 4 PM this afternoon. The mall entrance is just closed (garage door down), and if you go around to the exterior entrance they have black and white signs posted that simply say Dick's is closed today or something like that.
This store was open a few days ago so I wonder what is going on with it.

It was probably a COVID-19 outbreak. Too many employees tested positive so they had to shut down and call in professional cleaning crews. Or a takeover robbery and the store needed time to do a police investigation.
They do not give a reason because they do not want to frighten customers.

Dick's is taking over part of the former Sears location at Clackamas Town Center mall in Happy Valley, Oregon (Portland suburb).
It does not appear to be taking the full property.
edit: This may be a relocation. There is a Dick's up the road closer to Portland city limits in a power center.
