Granted, I don't shop there very often, but this seems odd, especially when they seem to be doing OK financially.

Supposedly, Zimmer was having disputes with the other executives. The executives were powerful enough to kick Zimmer out. This is what happens when the executives get so powerful that they can kick out the original founder of the company. The executives want to inflate their salaries and Zimmer was getting in the way.

If Zimmer does not return, I can see Men's Wearhouse crashing and going out of business in the next few years. Loyal customers are the only thing that is keeping Men's Wearhouse alive right now. Zimmer was a memorable part of the chain and the commercials are so familiar to loyal customers. Once you lose that, there really is no reason to go to Men's Wearhouse when you can buy suits for cheaper at any other major department store.

Corrupt executives underestimate the power of loyal customers. They are about to see their customers and profits vanish.
