Taco Bell Opening Hotel

Post by Alpha8472 »

They are opening a Taco Bell Hotel and Resort in Palm Springs, California in August. You can now be fully immersed in the Taco Bell lifestyle with new menu items and a hair salon. This is for a limited time.

I really don't get the purpose if this promotion. I feel sorry for the +18 'superfans' that are going to experience this hotel in August in Palm Springs.

Weird!!

I wonder where the hotel is? Can't seem to find the address.

I wonder if it is a new build or a refurbished old location (lots of those).

My understanding is that they're just temporarily taking over an existing hotel/resort for this promotion. And I'm sure the resort is thrilled to find a way to generate some business in the off-season. The location is supposed to be announced in June.

What a promotion. Taco Bell seems to have a fan base... I sure don't know who they are.

This opened last night. Here are some pictures:

It turns out this is only being run for four nights, but all of the available reservations sold out in two minutes when booking opened. Not bad for a publicity stunt.
