Taco Bell $5 Taco Subscription

Post by Alpha8472 »

They are doing a $5 Taco subscription at 17 locations in Tucson, Arizona. You get 1 Taco a day for 30 days on the Taco Bell app. It applies to regular, Loco, and Supreme tacos.

This could keep customers coming back every day. Perhaps it will keep customers loyal to Taco Bell and away from other fast food chains.

$5 is a pretty good deal. Do they still use imitation cheese or did they upgrade back to real cheese?

Apparently the test program was successful because Taco Bell is now rolling out the Taco Lovers Pass program nationwide. The cost is higher than it was with the test market (around $10 per month, with regional variation) and it requires using the app to get the deal. I could see this being useful for people who live close to Taco Bells, but probably not something I'd go out of my way for.

That seems to only be at corporate operated Circle K locations.

The franchise ones don't seem to be offering it. At least not the ones I've been into in CA. They still offer the .99 foam cup drink. For better or worse the foam police have not yet gone after them.
