Yesterday I went to lunch with my parents and Fiancee at a Red Robin in the Smokey Point area north of Marysville, and found that this location had very different signage from the typical Red Robin around here. Searching online I found that Google Streetview and other sources showed this location with the standard Red Robin signage, so it looks like this is a pretty recent change. The Red Robin website doesn't show anything, so it looks like this is happening quietly.
I found a couple of articles and photos showing some of the new signage changes:

Re: Logo change coming for Red Robin?
I started seeing this a couple months ago in their print items. Not surprising, given the trend for more restaurants to shed their crazy, kitschy themes for something a bit more sophisticated.Brian Lutz wrote:Yesterday I went to lunch with my parents and Fiancee at a Red Robin in the Smokey Point area north of Marysville, and found that this location had very different signage from the typical Red Robin around here. Re: Logo change coming for Red Robin?
A few days ago I was in Beaverton/Hillsboro OR driving around, and passed by a Red Robin which had also updated its signage to a logo I have never seen before. I don't typically eat there so I don't know if any interior remodeling etc. has taken place. They seem to do well in this region though.

Re: Logo change coming for Red Robin?
This particular location is the first time I've seen this updated logo, but on searching it does seem like a number of other locations in scattered areas have done it. I hadn't ever been to this particular RR before, but the decor seemed to be pretty standard for a Red Robin, with all sorts of stuff all over the walls.
And yes, Red Robin seems to do pretty well in the Pacific Northwest. There are at lease six of them within ten miles of where I live.
