Is Taco Bell having problems? In the past year the ones in Verdi, NV and just recently the one in Reno, NV - Wedge Pkwy have closed and not been replaced.
I don't really pay attention to this chain much since I don't eat there for a variety of reasons but I always thought they were pretty popular and never really noticed them closing down before other than the purge of "Express" locations some years ago.

Re: Taco Bell closings
Maybe it is just some issue with the Nevada franchisee. They are so low effort they don't even serve any iced tea other than sugary stuff from the soda machine. At least the Taco Bells in northern California I've gone into over the past few years have some brewed iced tea available. I think the NorCal Taco Bells might be corporate operations.
