Hello
There seems to be some good in sight here. There was recently a tour of the top folks from the investor group of SEG that came through several of the Charlotte stores “touring both Bilo and Harvey’s”. The management teams and above store leaders alike seem to know little of why but their stress is understandably high as they wonder is this leading to an exit of North Carolina or at least an exit if the Charlotte area?

Time will tell!

Southeastern Grocers operates 11 stores in North Carolina: ten BI-LO stores and one Harvey's store. Many stores in North Carolina have closed over the years.

I am not optimistic about Southeastern Grocers' future in North Carolina. BI-LO has lost battles to Ingle's and Harris Teeter. I would not be surprised to see a market exit involving a quantity of stores divested and a quantity of stores closed.

Knight do you think they will make it through 2019 in N.C.

I have my doubts because only 11 stores has to make distribution a cost effective challenge.
