Expectedly, things are beginning to cool off at ACME after their acquisition spree involving the A&P stores. Acme Style reports of three stores that will not renew leases:

29 Cornwell Drive, Bridgeton, NJ (map link) - Overcrowded grocery market, with a Walmart directly to the north, ShopRite directly to the south, and an ALDI across the street. Albertsons 2000s décor.

1080 Broad Street, Shrewsbury, NJ (map link) - Dated store that is now rendered useless by a newer converted A&P.

2176 Baltimore Pike, Oxford, PA
(map link) - Old store rumored to close for years.

Acme Style notes they are reopening two more former A&P stores.

Those would be Patterson NY and Boonton NJ, which they decided to acquire at the last minute (in the case of Boonton, the very last day of their going out of business sales) which is why they are taking longer to reopen (since much, if not all of the equipment had been available for sale as well as merchandise, so they pretty much had to re-start these from an empty building unlike the rest they converted as a working store).
