Amazon is planning to open convenience stores. At first, these will only be available to subcribers. There is also a rumored Amazon grocery store on its way.

Re: Amazon Convenience Stores
So this was that "secret project" eh?
A membership-only convenience store, where it presumably will let you order/pick up Amazon items?
Sorry. I'd rather just use Amazon like normal and go to a Circle K or 7-Eleven.

Re: Amazon Convenience Stores
I remember the drive-thru milk stores we had out West...this sounds like an updated version of the "milk depot"

Re: Amazon Convenience Stores
Amazon is planning on 20 grocery stores in 2 years and 2,000 in the next 10 years. The size is 30,000 square feet.
The store will probably be membership only and will charge a fee. These could be like Costco in that they have a membership fee to keep it profitable. Who knows how it will go.
