What did this store used to be?
The front made me think Safeway. But the floor inside looked like it was from Smiths...

It was definitely Safeway. We shopped there when I was very young.
There was a new-ish Smith's (built probably in the late 1980s or early 1990s) a mile or so away on Yellowstone Avenue. Kroger closed it when a new Fred Meyer opened across the street. I believe that Dollar Tree now occupies part of the former Smith's.
