Question mark will be if they keep the 200k square feet in Centralia.
Is Centralia an old Eagle distribution center? That is rather small for a distribution center - not much larger than some Lowe's Stores.

I found an old article about when it opened, It looks like it was a Lowe's distribution center since day one:storewanderer wrote: ↑October 8th, 2020, 10:35 pm Question mark will be if they keep the 200k square feet in Centralia.

Eagle Hardware never operated this far south....they operated further north.
An interesting note though is that they have a similarity to Fred Meyer in that they operate a distribution center, but no stores, in Lewis County. Home Depot does have a store in Chehalis.

We had Eagle here in Reno and Sparks with a couple stores for a few years before they sold to Lowes. I think they had a scattering of newer stores in Denver area as well. You can identify the old Eagle Stores due to the drive through lumber yard feature. The Reno Lowe's is still configured like an Eagle Store. They un-decorated it but kept the general layout the same. Nothing like a Lowe's build store. Sparks one closed (technically moved... about 5 miles away into an entirely different trade area... really it closed).Super S wrote: ↑October 9th, 2020, 10:35 am Eagle Hardware never operated this far south....they operated further north.

What I was talking about had to do with Washington and Oregon, specifically west of the Cascades and south of the Seattle-Tacoma area. I seem to remember a location in Yakima but am not 100% positive of that.storewanderer wrote: ↑October 9th, 2020, 4:46 pmWe had Eagle here in Reno and Sparks with a couple stores for a few years before they sold to Lowes. Home Depot had already established a presence in the Portland area for several years before Lowe's arrived, the only other similar big-box chain in the area was Home Base. I honestly do not know if Eagle had any stores in Oregon.

This warehouse could likely be an ecommerce fulfillment center or a place to process imports vomit.from China. Home Depot and Lowes generally don't run traditional distribution centers. They use cross dock facilities and at 1.2 million sq. ft, this place is way too big for that.
Lowes first store in Oregon was actually an under construction Eagle store in Tigard that was changed during construction to a Lowes.
