I would say the same about what they have left in NorCal and Fresno. So few stores, why even bother? Well in the bay area the reason they'll bother is because a lot of those are very good performers... I suppose I just answered my own question.

Many of these locations are former Eckard, Osco, or Albertsons sites (the Albertsons sites were subdivided into a Fresh and Easy, a 99 Cents Only, and usually a vacant space). The former drug store locations could make for some decent Walmart Express locations. In addition there are about a dozen or more already closed and or "mothballed" Fresh and Easy locations throughout The Phoenix area already. These sites have been vacant for years.
