the company is becoming way too strict on the dress code, it’s not a white collared job therefore the workers should be allowed to wear casual wear.it’s not like the customers are actually going to care what workers wear, lol.

What is the dress code? When I went to Mariano's pre-Kroger everyone working there wore white button down collared shirts and ties.

Kroger has no dress code to speak of at Smiths anymore (employees seem to wear whatever they want, some of them throw an apron on over it), and it isn't very professional looking. I think some of the union agreements in some regions do call for them to provide the uniform shirts and they probably should just do that everywhere. They were better off in the days where the employees were told to wear dark pants and were provided a company-logo issued polo shirt to wear. The employees looked better and more uniform.
