Former Safeway CEO out at Albertsons already

I'm surprised this happened so fast.

So we will definitely see the management style of pre-merger Albertsons for the new company.

Any predictions?
I think the Safeway Club Card and Self scanning could go away long term based on their previous history (although they haven't removed self-scanning from the former SuperValu stores).

They removed some almost brand new self checkouts when they did the remodel last summer in Elko, NV (Intermountain Division). Also when the Las Vegas Stores got switched from SoCal Division to Southwest Division, self checkouts were removed (yet those stores do remain on SuperValu systems while the rest of Southwest is on the old Albertsons Inc. IBM systems from 2005). I noticed they seem to have kept self checkout in SoCal for now.
