Re: Wienerschnitzel Tries To Attract New Franchisees With Incentives
They had ones in Carson City and Sparks with actual dine in. Carson City one closed long ago. Sparks one closed more recently. Reno one was a drive through/patio window operation, closed once, then reopened.
I try them every few years and am never impressed by the quality of the product or the price.

I have never been to one of these, so I can't comment on what they offer.
But I can say that they did open a location in Vancouver, WA, I think sometime during the 2000s, in a spot on Andresen Road in front of a Home Depot and across from Costco. It never really seemed busy at all, and it eventually closed and became a Taco Bell. I am not sure if they even have any other locations in this area, as it's a brand I really don't pay attention to.

The chain is dying. Wienerschnitzel is trying to keep from going extinct. They have little advertising and are not popular with young people. Perhaps elderly people remember the days of hot dog stands.

I've heard good things about the Tastee Freeze concept.
I know of a number of CA locations of this chain that have been in business for a long time. The chain does seem to have some degree of stability.
