Redbox and Video Stores

Post by Alpha8472 »

I have been getting tons of text offers from Redbox for $1.25 off DVD rentals at their kiosks.

I have not rented dvd in years. Do people still use these Redbox machines? The business seems like it is dying. Redbox has even disappeared from many Walmart and 7-Eleven stores. I don't even know if Redbox is still found at most Safeway stores. Safeway used to have them at every store.

Are there any video stores still open? I don't know of any local ones anymore.

Steaming has killed videos. I don't know how Redbox survives but I do see people use it occasionally. Maybe their machines are all paid for their cost structure is low.
