Big box stores are the main place that people buy Halloween products. I read another article that listed chain Halloween stores as number one and then Walmart, Target, etc. below that.
I visited Spirit Halloween and they have the biggest selection. Walmart really doesn't have as much variety and seems really limited this year. Halloween stores seem to know how to choose the appealing products.
Spirit is so much fun. Many people go there as a sort of free funhouse with all of the props. There is a local chain in the San Francisco Bay Area called Halloween Outlet. They have a huge selection as well, but they also have ancient Christmas items from perhaps 20 years ago. Where did they find all this classic non led stuff?
