This is using a provider other than Amazon. I was not aware of this. It seems to be open 24 hours (?) and unstaffed (???) in a resort of some kind.

It is not only well laid out, but it is very well assorted, and has what look like the same prices as any other Dollar General. I see some DSD bread in there, so they must staff at some point to receive DSD.

Given the location (Banner Elk) I wonder if this isn't at a resort of some nature. Thought I'd heard in the last 6 months or so about DG moving into some of these type stores (where resort staff can do receiving/stocking) in state parks etc. Sizes appeared to be "only carryable" as the largest milk seemed to be half-gallon.

Seems someone would have to stock the shelves every so often anyway (to replace items that were sold), so maybe set it up that those deliveries show up at the same time?

Has anyone else heard of this technology provider? I've never heard of them. All we hear is Amazon.

I wonder how long it takes this provider to get you a receipt after you shop...

Did you watch the video? It has a carefully curated mix of primarily consumables (food and medicine) and paper products at typical Dollar General prices. Small mix of hardware or home type items.

A mini bar has low selection and absurd prices. This is no mini bar.

This is a great concept. But I question how it turns a profit. As a customer at a campsite, cabin, or similar, I'd love access to a store like this.
