I definitely agree with this but I find both apps to be quite horrible. D+ for Safeway and F- for Kroger.

I'd give CVS a D+, Walgreens a C-, and Rite Aid a C--.

Dollar General app: B++. Especially the cart calculator feature where you can see the items in your cart and make sure the coupons will attach. Really fantastic feature.
