Re: Carl's Jr. Free Hangover Burger February 10
I think this burger may be pretty good if the hash rounds are omitted.
This hasn't been orderable on the app outside of breakfast hours in my area so I am curious if that will change tomorrow.

Interesting burger. 7.69 asking price. There was no cheese on it that I could tell, unless it was a slice so thin it vanished in the mayonnaise. Way too much mayonnaise for my taste. I can't tell what the special sauce is, it may be ketchup mixed with some Western sauce. Flavor was pretty good. Folded egg was okay, had some flavor too. The hash rounds were interesting from a texture perspective on the burger. But in the bites I took that had no hash round, that flavor missing, did change the entire flavor profile of the product. Would like to see some other breakfast products offered all day if they are going to be having eggs and hash rounds all day. Maybe one of the burritos?
Not close to being as good as the Steak N Shake version of this burger, the Royale, which seems to have been discontinued but some locations still make, which used a whole egg grilled rather than folded egg and I think their burger seasoning really helped flavor the whole thing.

It was $7.99 at my local Carl's Jr. The melted Swiss cheese was very thin and seemed to melt into the burger patty. It was good, but not very plentiful. I thought that it was a decent burger.
I agree that they should have more breakfast ingredients available all day.
