Not surprising. This former Kmart opened as a massive Kroger (the largest in the state IIRC) in 1997 and was taken over by Harris Teeter in 1999 when kroger left the market. HT reduced the footprint and has not really updated the store in twenty years as it just got emptier and emptier.
