That's pretty much what I do. About the only thing I'll unpack in a relatively timely manner are perishables and frozen foods. The rest of it stays in the bags for about a week. Went to Dollar General last Monday and I'll be putting those items away later on today. These days, you have to presume EVERYTHING is suspect and act accordingly.
