The 185 Ruby Tuesday locations that have been unable to reopen since March will now be permanently closed. 236 restaurants remain.

This chain has been shrinking for years, a number of franchisees in what should have been promising markets (like Northern California and Denver) have gone bust.

It seems like it used to be positioned as something "slightly better than Chili's or Applebees" but in more recent years tried to be more like Chili's or Applebees with more focus on burgers, variety cuts from the salad bar, etc.
