Super G Reduces Meat Cutters Hours

Hi, This past week Super G demoted all of their full time meat cutters with the exception of
Their Meat Managers. The cutters were given a choice they could be reduced to a 30 hour work week, plus permium Sunday hours, loose full time benefits or remain full time by working
and additional ten hours a week as a meat Clerk at reduced wages of that position.
The previous week they cut back labor in the Bakery Department by going to a freeze and
bake program, eliminating many positions. They had also eliminated many Floral Departments and will go with pre made floral boquets such as Walmart has,
Why do this ? Simple, to pay for a reduced margin and radio ad program, without lowering
store profitability. In short make the help pay for it
