Costco Renting 3 Container Ships

Post by Alpha8472 »

Costco is renting 3 container shops and thousands of containers in order to deal with the shipping delays. Shipping fees have increased 6 times what they used to be.

This way they can keep costs down and not be delayed like everyone else.

A lot of retailers who have chartered ships are having them come in through underused ports like the Port of Portland or the Port of Everett. You can have your own ship but you also need to avoid the ports in Long Beach, Seattle and Oakland. Once off-loaded, containers can sit there for weeks.
