Lloyd Center facing foreclosure

It looks like this could be the end for Lloyd Center...there is a strong possibility that this will be the mall's last holiday shopping season. This article, as well as several others I have read, are all pointing toward a redevelopment.

The only remaining original Lloyd Center store is saying they aren't going anywhere. Not yet, anyway.

They just might hold out until the very end.

Bet the mall get padlocked in January. Sad but the cost to heat, cool, and secure a 1 million plus sq ft mall just for the ice rink and a handful of stores has to be astronomical.

Surprisingly, it appears that Lloyd Center now is under new ownership:

They say that the mall is staying open for now, but it's not clear what the "revitalization" will entail.
