California Christmas/Holiday Ham Prices

Aldi seems (at least in the Midwest) to have enough local autonomy to locally price clearance items (you often see hand-written shelf pricetags as they clear out odds and ends), and often produce prices are hand-written (reflecting stuff getting a bit old) and the prices are nearly always reflected at the checkstand (once in a great while they will not have updated the scan file, but the checkers are involved enough to fix it readily when called to their attention). It wouldn't be beyond belief that a local manager could have made a bad decision about raising price here if they saw themselves being cleaned out of hams.
