Gelson's Santa Monica Proposed Property Redevelopment

Former Lucky & Albertsons, now Gelson's, at Lincoln Blvd. & Ocean Park would be demolished. 571 units & a total of 36k ft. in retail, including a small grocery story, would replace. They would not return.

The Vons about a mile further north on Lincoln & Broadway is scheduled to go through a similar redevelopment but will return.

The community doesn't seem be too happy about the density of this project but i bet Gelson's would love to get out of that lease. They are losing lots of $$$ at that location.
