Skippers used to be the dominant fish and chips fast food outlet in the Pacific Northwest and had locations beyond. Today there are only 5 full service restaurants left with a lot of Skippers "Go Fleet" locations in c-stores and independent supermarkets. Starway Restaurants LLC has finally sold them. I would love to see the full service units come back!

Re: Skippers Seafood and Chowder sold!
I can't think of a single chain that has a dominant presence these days. There are Ivar's locations as you get up towards Seattle, and a handful of scattered Long John Silvers, scattered enough that I can't think of the locations closest to me.
I think the opportunity is there...when operated properly they have a good product.
