The condo craze is over. There are so many empty condos in the San Francisco Bay Area now. Many retail stores and restaurants were demolished to build expensive condos, but now many of them are unsold and empty.
There are so many vacant office buildings and mixed use developments right now. Great America brings in visitors who also patronize local restaurants and businesses.
Great America is a fun place for the local residents and many people travel to Great America from all over Northern California. It is a cheaper alternative to Disneyland. Without local amusement parks, people will find the San Francisco Bay Area even less appealing to families. More families will simply move out of the area. It is just one more reason to move out of California.
