The comments in this article don't give me much hope that Fresh Market is long for this world.

The Utah ABS must have been in worse shape than most observers had believed. Utah was one of ABS first markets outside of ID and the Pacific Northwest and was long a top player in SLC and the Wasatch front, along with Smith's and Harmon's one of the reasons the SLC Safeway division was unprofitable.
The last 3-4 years of operating as Albertson's a great deal of business must have been lost to Associated's indys and Walmart's expansion.
