Re: Buttrey Food & Drug coming back
Plan changed, banner used will be Super Saver.
Slogan to be Crazy about savings.
Alpha Beta private label coming back to support this format, have to wait for Kroger deal close to get that part to happen.

Re: Buttrey Food & Drug coming back
Post Kroger, they will bring back the Smith's Food and Drug brand in markets where it is remembered with particular fondness, like Cody, Wyoming; Butte, Montana; and Billings, Montana.

Re: Buttrey Food & Drug coming back
Beyond those markets they really want to bring Smiths back to Cheyenne also. It has been determined that King Soopers is not the right banner to use in Cheyenne.kr.abs.swy wrote: ↑April 3rd, 2023, 8:11 pm Post Kroger, they will bring back the Smith's Food and Drug brand in markets where it is remembered with particular fondness, like Cody, Wyoming; Butte, Montana; and Billings, Montana.
Actually Cheyenne currently has a very high volume King Soopers, two okay volume Albertsons, and one nice but historically low volume Safeway. I think the Safeway has been doing better in recent years and would make a good King Soopers. The Albertsons are former Buttrey units and seem too small.
