I am shocked. I work in a pharmacy and there have been some serious shortages of medications over the past 3 years. Most notably antibiotic eye drops and breathing medications.
I also noticed recently for the first time that my pharmacy started carrying drugs made in China. The drug shortages are that dire that we are ordering drugs made in China.
Previously, drugs were made in Europe, The UK, Ireland, Japan, Israel, or even India. Now we are so desperate that drugs that you put in your eyes come from China.
Hopefully Rising will make many drugs here in the US where our standards are higher and safety inspections actually take place.
