New logo, new tag: Market of Choice

Post by SamSpade »

It's not as clear from the desktop website, but MoC has updated their logo and font families to reflect some of their new movements in "local" food and branding. They definitely are branding the "Oregon-ness" so clearly not moving into SW Washington state (or elsewhere) soon.

From "Food for the way you live" to "Find the food you love."

Our Story: If it comes from an independent maker, grower, or producer, it’s going to be better.

And now called "Oregon's Market of Choice". Probably a smart move to appear more local. And if they go into Washington, they could become "Washington's Market of Choice". I know they are not looking to sell but they would probably fetch a great price due to their store coverage in areas with little competition for the higher end consumer.

The Hillsboro store appears to be on - track and with the closure of Basics, they will certainly be the "high end" in south Hillsboro and Aloha (besides, the Tanasbourne WFM is awful).
