Decor check - Rite Aid

Post by SamSpade »

As noted in the lengthy bankruptcy thread, some stores never get updated but keep going and going.

An Instagram friend posted some photos of the Palouse Mall Rite Aid. It does have RA aisle placards, but the rest is Pay & Save?

Wow... that is indeed the Pay N Save decor...

Funny how it sort of matches the current Rite Aid colors too.

Wow. Based on what I have seen around Portland, I thought the last of the Pay 'N Save and PayLess Drug interiors had finally all been remodeled. Even the one in Tigard, which retained the PayLess interior for a LONG time after becoming Rite Aid, has been updated.

There was a perfectly preserved Payless Interior in Walnut Creek, California up until it closed a few years ago. I always wondered why Rite Aid closed that store as it did pretty good business. A new CVS opened up across the street, but they both could still have coexistence as they are both in front of a retirement community called Rossmoor with thousands of residents.
