Wendy's has changed their logo for the first time since 1983. They changed the font and also the look of Wendy.

Arby's just updated their logo too, and the Wendy's Company owns 18.5% of them. I wonder if there's some sort of connection there...

I have yet to see Wendy's using the new logo in any of their advertising, or on their stores. As for Arby's, they started using the new logo in ads right away.

I saw a picture of a new Wendy's not too long ago that had the updated logo. But other than that, I haven't seen the use of it anywhere else, not even on their website.

It's about time . It's definitely interesting how long it's taken for them to start using their new logo

A new logo is not going to make people run to Wendy's restaurants in droves. What Wendy's is probably waiting for is for new restaurant remodels to be completed first before a widespread roll out of their new logo.

If they change the logo, people will expect the restaurants to have something new. If there is nothing new, people will be let down and probably avoid Wendy's due to the misleading advertising.

If you want a new look logo, then you need to give the restaurants a new look as well. Or at least introduce some new and exciting food items on the menu.

I think they should just add the new logo to remodeled stores. That way, people will know which restaurants look nice and new inside.

Today in the usual Tuesday bunch of dead tree spam, the updated Wendy's logo showed up for the first time on a sheet of coupons. The most recent coupon sheet before this one still had the old logo on it.

Wendy's online ads and website now have the updated logo as well.
